This Sunday: Project Q taping details

Hello, Milwaukee Lindy Hoppers!  Science needs you.

When:  Meet at 2:30 on Sunday, February 26.
Where: Meet by "The Calling"/"The Sunburst"/"The Big Orange Thing" on E Wisconsin & Prospect so we can have a view of the Milwaukee Art Museum's Burke Brise Soleil behind us in the frame.

What:   We'll review the routine a couple of times and tape at both tempos. You can download both versions of "Dr. Jazz" by Roberta Hunt at the Project Q blog.
Molly suggested we take this Lindy bomb on the road and tape at another location too: Old World Third Street?  In front of a brewery?  Other suggestions?  Come for the 2:30 runthrough and taping, think about staying later; if we've got a group with time and interest to travel, we'll make the call then.

What to wear:  Dress for dancing outside; formal attire not necessary but feel free to dress it up a bit if you'd like.
If someone would be willing to bring a blanket or big piece of cardboard we could put our coats/bags on while filming, that would be wonderful.

What else: The weather forecast has been sunny and in the 40's, though it might be windy as well.

Who: RSVP by commenting below so we can get a head count of who to expect.  See you soon!

  1. Jordan and I are in!

Dressing for the weather means I should plan on not wearing a coat, yes?

Also, I'm all for taping at/near a brewery - there's some pretty stuff over by the Pabst I think.

  2. I'm planning to wear something long sleeved but also wear a coat...when we are actually filming I'll take my coat off but will otherwise be bundled up. I'm planning to bring a big piece of cardboard to pile stuff on in case the ground is wet/snowy.

  3. See you then. How about on the stage at the Ale House?

  4. I'll be there. If there are too many follows I can sit out. I'll bring a blanket or two as I always have them in my car.
